Just arrived in Taipei for our short layover on the way to Bangkok – so far everything is on schedule and we had a great sleep on the first leg so hopefully we will hit the ground in Bangkok reasonably rested for the afternoon we have there.
Just want to start this whole adventure off with a very big thank you to all of our family and friends back home who help us out, watching the kids, picking up the slack at work, checking the mail, watching the house, cutting the grass, etc, etc, etc. This is a great time for us to get away once a year to relax and recharge, and there is no way we could do it without all of your support, so thank you all so very very much!!

Not at all envious. Just wondering where we could pick up a family like that? Would they like a little trip to Perth for about a year? We have grass they could cut and they can collect the mail and anything else that would make them feel useful. I think there’s a bit of painting needing doing too. Just asking.
Haha – well maybe for a free room in Perth I will come and do it – with all your inflation in AUS it might be the only way I could afford to come there!
